Estos aparecen en un orden aproximadamente cronológico, pero sin una estricta secuencia de sucesos; tampoco ha sido posible ser exhaustivos aun dentro de estas limitaciones.

Las referencias bíblicas que aparecen en la parte superior de muchas de las páginas, llevan a los relatos de los incidentes de los cuales se han sacado las lecciones. Está indicada la fuente de cada pasaje que aparece en estas páginas. Una mirada detenida a las referencias revelará que la fuente principal ha sido la conocida serie de “El Gran Conflicto”, la cual, en general, presenta el relato más completo y más rico. La tarea de seleccionar y ordenar estos esbozos ha sido realizada en la oficina de la Fundación Elena G. de White. Ojalá puedan cumplir el propósito para el cual fueron destinados, de traer ánimo a los hijos de Dios para las pruebas que nos asaltan en los últimos días de la historia de la tierra.

These appear in an approximately chronological order, but without a strict sequence of events; Nor has it been possible to be exhaustive even within these limitations.

Biblical references that appear at the top of many of the pages lead to accounts of the incidents from which the lessons have been taken. The source of each passage that appears on these pages is indicated. A careful look at the references will reveal that the main source has been the well-known series of "The Great Conflict", which, in general, presents the most complete and richest account. The task of selecting and ordering these sketches has been carried out in the office of the Ellen G. White Foundation. Hopefully they can fulfill the purpose for which they were intended, to bring encouragement to the children of God for the trials that assail us in the last days of the history of the earth.
